We tested SnurreSniken™ at a depth of 180 meters – using a battery drill
SnurrereSniken™ has become a favorite among hobby and recreational anglers, and we decided to test how far we could take it – literally. The goal? To retrieve the catch from a depth of 180 meters using something as simple as a regular battery drill.
The result? Surprisingly impressive!
We connected the drill to the crank and got started. The line rolled smoothly and steadily up from the bottom, and the entire retrieval went faster than expected. Not only did we save time and effort, but we also avoided heavy and bulky equipment.
This is what we used in the test:
-
SnurreSniken™ pre-rigged -
180 meters depth in a calm fjord
-
Standard battery drill (18V)
-
Drill adapter for crank (available in the online store)
Why this works:
-
Even resistance in the line
-
Low friction in the crank mechanism
-
Stable buoyancy that makes the job easier
A tool for everyone – regardless of experience
