Terms of purchase

Last updated: January 31, 2026

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases at TrapSaver™, for both private individuals and corporate customers. By shopping with us, you accept these terms.

1. General

These terms and conditions apply between TrapSaver™ (hereinafter referred to as "Seller") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as "Buyer"). The terms and conditions govern the purchase of maritime safety products and spearfishing equipment through our online store.

2. Prices and payment

Private individuals: All prices are quoted in Norwegian kroner (NOK) including value added tax (VAT). Payment is made at the time of booking via available payment methods.

Corporate customers: Payment terms are normally 14 days net from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to price changes and printing errors.

3. Delivery

Delivery time is stated when ordering and is indicative. Shipping will be to the address provided. In the event of a shortage of stock, we reserve the right to split deliveries or cancel the order.

The risk for the goods passes to the Buyer upon delivery. In the event of delayed delivery beyond the agreed time, the Buyer has the right to demand performance or cancellation under the Sales Act.

4. Right of withdrawal (private individuals only)

Private individuals have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the item in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. The item must be returned in the same condition and quantity as received, in the original packaging. The buyer covers the return costs unless the item is defective or incorrectly shipped.

The Right of Withdrawal Act does not apply to corporate customers. Return of goods requires prior approval from NorTrap AS.

5. Complaints and warranty

The buyer must inspect the goods upon receipt and make a complaint within a reasonable time in the event of defects or deficiencies. For private individuals, the complaint period in the Consumer Purchase Act applies (normally 2 years from delivery). For business customers, the Purchase Act applies with a complaint period within a reasonable time, normally within 14 days.

Any product warranties are stated in the product information. Complaints should be sent to our customer service.

6. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please see our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use and protect your data.

7. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to fulfill the agreement due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, supplier failures or government orders.

10. Applicable law and venue
