SnurreSniken™ Extreme is a modern fishing line (bottom line) that makes sea fishing simple and automatic. It sets itself, fishes by itself, and can be used by both beginners and experienced anglers. Just attach the hook set and weight, bait the hooks, and drop – the rest happens automatically!
This is how it works:
-
Attach bait to the hooks (mackerel, shrimp, herring, or squid are recommended).
-
Cast out SnurreSniken™ – the line automatically rolls out until the weight hits the bottom.
-
When the bottom is reached, it stops and starts fishing. (Feel free to engage the brake)
-
SnurreSniken™ stays anchored and fishes while you do something else – like drinking coffee or fishing with a rod.
Advantages:
-
Automatic release and anchoring.
-
Can easily be reeled in manually with a crank or using a powerful drill.
-
You can use many hooks at the same time (f.eks. 10 pcs) without it becoming heavy.
-
Perfect in combination with a fish finder/chart plotter for accurate positioning.
-
Easy to use at different depths – find the fish quickly!
-
Smart to mark with a flag if you are fishing a distance from shore.

Advantages of PCTG in marine and aquatic environments
PCTG is well-suited for many products used in marine, boating, and outdoor environments. The material has low moisture absorption, good chemical resistance, and withstands contact with saltwater better than many common 3D printing materials.
The good impact strength makes PCTG particularly useful for parts that may experience shocks, loads, or rough handling on board a boat, at a dock, or with fishing equipment. The material does not crack as easily as more brittle plastic types and maintains a tough and robust structure in practical use.
PCTG also has good UV and weather resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use where the part is exposed to sunlight, rain, salt, and temperature fluctuations. For prolonged use in strong sunlight, UV-stabilized filament or post-processing is recommended for extra protection.Advantages in marine environment:
Good resistance to saltwater and moisture
Low moisture absorption
High impact strength and toughness
Withstands rough use on boats, docks, and fishing equipment
Good chemical resistance
Better flexibility than many hard plastic types
Suitable for outdoor use and marine components
Attractive surface and good dimensional stability
PCTG is well suited for practical parts such as brackets, protective covers, containers, fastening parts, fishing gear, boat equipment, and other components that require strength, toughness, and good resistance to marine environments.
